Uniform Statement

 

Wright Robinson College uniform is intended to be accessible to all families.

In accordance with the DfE guidance for school uniforms, we understand an unreasonable burden can be placed on families where a school’s uniform is too expensive.  The cost of a school uniform should not be so expensive that it leaves students or their families feeling that they are unable to apply to or attend a school of their choice. 

The College makes its best endeavours to be inclusive and considerate of costs through promoting four suppliers to ensure ease of access and best value for Parents/Carers and our students.  The College can also offer support with uniform should families be in financial difficulty.

The College has attempted to keep branded items to a minimum, however the College is aware that we do have several branded items.  These items can be purchased from any of the four suppliers which we promote, several of which were chosen by our student council due to the excellent quality which provided longevity.  

The College also ensures that second hand uniforms are available for parents/carers to acquire.  The College holds second-hand uniform sales throughout the year. Information regarding second-hand uniform sales will be sent out to parents each term.
