2023 EXAMINATION RESULTS
Wright Robinson College Year 11 students achieve outstanding examination results!
Everyone at Team Wright Robinson is delighted with the exceptional results achieved by our Year 11 students. Despite the difficulties that they have faced over the past few years, they have performed exceptionally well and produced the college’s best ever GCSE results.
A summary of our headline results are:
-
75% of students achieved a grade 4 in both maths and English (National 66%)
-
51% of students achieved a grade 5 in both maths and English (National 45%)
-
1 in 4 of all pupil grades achieved were grades 9-7
-
44% of students achieved a pass (grade 4+) in the English Baccalaureate (National 23%)
The college’s provisional Progress 8 score is +0.6, which means that, on average, students have achieved examination results that are more than half a grade better in every subject than students with equivalent starting points in other schools nationally.
This group of young people have demonstrated all the positive aspects of ‘Team Work’ that the college embodies. Their resilience, commitment and determination have shone through since their return to college following the pandemic and we are incredibly proud of them.
