A: We don’t tolerate any form of bullying at Wright Robinson. If you are worried, however, you should go and report this immediately to your Head of Year or your class teacher. They will sort any problem out. If you don’t feel comfortable telling a teacher you can always talk to a prefect they are very nice.
A: You go to your Head of Year office and if necessary a first aider will check you over.
A: Yes. Every year group has a student council. Every September there are elections held and anyone can be voted onto the student council if you want to stand for election.
A: You must always get a registration mark. You can go to the attendance office or your class teacher will mark you in when you arrive to your lesson. Remember, it’s important to be on time though!
A: Teachers are all the same; it mostly depends on how you behave. If you behave well your teacher will respect you and you will have a good time stress free. If you behave in an unacceptable way the teacher will take appropriate action. All the teachers want you to do well.
A: Yes. Swimming goes on all throughout the year and is part of your PE timetable. How many other schools can say they have their own swimming pools?
A: You should go to your Head of Year office to report it and then you can search the lost property box.
A: You can follow a simple map that is printed in your planner but it won’t take you long to learn your way around. Staff and prefects are always around to help.
A: If you forget your tie you can borrow one from your Head of Year. If you come into school wearing trainers you will be given pumps to wear. Trainers are only allowed when you do PE or sport.
A: It depends. Sometimes you will get more than other times but never too much that it can’t be done.
A: School dinners are really nice and there is a good choice of what you can have.
A: When you start in September you pay £2.50 for a locker key and you rent your locker for five years. You can keep all your belongings safely in your personal locker.
A: You are allowed to borrow kit from the PE staff. If your kit is being washed you must bring a letter from home. Don’t make a habit of forgetting your kit because you will get a ‘kit mark’ against your name.
