Primary and Secondary Schools working together

During the school year, our Transition team make many visits to primary schools and meet on a regular basis. One of the ways we work together centres around the 'School Council'. On Friday 15th July 2005, the school council members from some of our primary schools took part in a day of activities at Debdale Park. We had lots of problem solving and the events were very much 'hands on'. The children were assisted by members of staff from their own schools and Junior Sports Leaders and students who were doing their work experience from Wright Robinson Specialist college. A fantastic time was had by all and a lot of hard work was put into the day.
