Primary Graduation

Every year, in the summer term, We invite all the primary children that have applied for a place at Wright Robinson Specialist College and been accepted for the following September. To allay any fears the Pupils may have about coming to secondary school, we invite them all up to spend 3 days experiencing life at Secondary school. They are introduced to their new form tutor, shown their form room and experience using a timetable to get through the day. They are assisted getting around the school by older students acting as Prefects who show them how to get to all their various rooms where they will be taught in September. This is carried on for the first 2 weeks of the new term as we are aware that most is forgotten over the summer holidays. The students get to taste school dinners, which usually goes down really well, especially the sausage rolls.

Graduation week usually has a theme and the theme for this year was 'COMMUNITY'.Everybody worked well together and the week culminated in a Sports Festival on the last day, with awards being given out at parents induction evening for the form with the most points.

Graduation week 2006 starts on Monday 10th July - Wednesday 12th July 2006
